We are all born with a natural, easy relationship to food and our bodies, but for so many of us this relationship gets damaged. Instead of relying on our body’s inner wisdom to guide our eating, we follow external rules and cues. This workshop, which includes lecture, group discussion, yoga practice, and a mindful eating experience, will help you to reclaim your connection to your inner wisdom and guidance. You will learn how to:

  • Quiet your mind and come into your body through gentle and restorative yoga postures and yogic breathing.
  • Listen to and trust your body’s hunger signals.
  • Take pleasure in the foods you love.
  • Practice mindful eating with a guided mindful meal.
  • Rely on your body’s wisdom for guidance.

Please bring a snack or small meal of your choice with you. No previous yoga experience is required – beginners are welcome!
